When a member pays for their next years membership outside of the Communal system ahead of their expiry date you can easily comeplete an early renewal on their account. An early renewal will ensure that the membership gets renewed on their upcoming expiry date and will assign them a membership valid for the membership period. If they wish to pay early again the following year you will need to complete an early-time on their account again or they can do so themselves.
Please follow the steps below for one-time auto-renewal:
- Login to your Communal Manager Dashboard and navigate to People then User Memberships
- Locate the user in the list and under Actions select Early Renewal
- Then you will enter their Payment Method and Amount and click Save
- The membership will be renewed for the term and expiry one year from the previous expiry date. Auto-renewal will remain disabled on the account, this is just an early renewal
